When we read, we become more knowledgeable. However, the question to ask is: what use is the knowledge we have if we can’t apply it to our day-to-day life and bring to effect the suggested changes from the books.
I designed this reading log to help you do just that! It not only has space to summarise the entire book, it provides space to summarise entire chapters into 1 or 2 sentences and write down a ‘Next Steps’ or ‘Probing Question’ from the chapter. To get the best from this Reading Log: 1. Commit to reading a minimum of 12 books every year, reading a chapter a day. 2. Summarise the contents of the chapter into one or two sentences 3. Write out the ‘next steps’ or ‘probing question(s)’ from the chapter. You will soon find that not only do you learn more from the books you read, you have a journal that helps you keep track of your reading experience and one to go back to for concise, accurate information when needed.
