You didn’t expect that did you? Most people continuously go full speed without ever pausing or knowing when to take a break. This is more counter-productive that working hard. I am an avid Tennis fan and I absolutely love Roger Federer. I remember watching him in the early days and wondering why he had dips of form while playing… now I understand that they might have been intentional dips – dips to help him rest a little, recoup on his form and come back stronger.
As hard working people, it is as important to plan your pauses as it is to plan your tasks. Pace yourself, know when to take breaks and you would always love being at the top of your game. Beyond that, you will also be able to maintain that top spot without feeling you’ve lost out on life.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this one and I charge you to strive for the TOP and stay there!
QUOTE OF THE WEEK:
“Take rest; a field that has rested
gives a bountiful crop.”
