Which mother doesn't remember this interesting phase of pregnancy? All I can say is whoever named the rooms ‘Labour ward’ knew exactly what they were saying. At some points in the process, I wasn't even sure if I was on earth or heaven (in fact thinking about it, I must have been mid-way most of the time). Many times during the process, I gave up in my heart and only recommitted to the task, thanks to my amazing midwife and the ultimate desire to see the reality of my dreams. Guys, dreams/goals/desire will never become a tangible reality until your PUSH or labour!

Just before your goals become real, there will be a testing period, a time when you feel it is better to quit than continue. Only one word will determine the outcome and that word is PERSEVERANCE. I checked the meaning of this word for you and it is defined as doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. And its synonyms include persistence, tenacity, determination, resolve, resolution, resoluteness, staying power, purposefulness, firmness of purpose; patience, endurance, application, diligence, sedulousness, dedication, commitment, steadfastness, tirelessness, indefatigability, stamina; stick ability;

That up there is a list your want to study next time it seems your goals are not happening. By the time you study each of these words, staying power will give you the strength to make it happen!

I am extremely grateful to my children for the opportunity to go from Conception to Birth, for through it, I have learnt the invaluable lessons of bringing my goals and desires to fruition. I therefore dedicate this series to them!
